Alutrack makes stainless boat docks that are suitable for all shores and easy to install and use. The dock makes it easier to tow the boat ashore, and the boat also stays in better condition when its bottom is easy to keep clean. Light dock
Light boat docks are suitable for boats with a total weight of up to 900 kg. The length of the boat dock depends on the purpose and the type of the shore. When determining the ideal length, an important factor to consider is whether the boat dock is used solely to tow the boat to the shore or whether it will also be used as winter storage, and needs to be pulled further away from the shore.
To make sure the boat dock can be operated properly, it is important to ensure that the length is sufficient to take the boat far enough into the water. Alutrack boat docks are designed to be operated in such a way that the carriage, on top of which the boat sits, goes so far into the water that it is deep enough for the boat to float on before the winch is switched on.
The boat dock consists mainly of 2.35-metre modules that are attached to each other in order to achieve the desired length. If required, it is also possible to construct it from 5-metre rail modules.
For light docks, you can buy as additional equipment a so-called V-support for the front carriage which stops the boat from being accidentally driven out of the carriage and supports the hull of the boat when the boat is on the dock.

The benefits of having a light boat dock
Suitable for small boats
A light boat dock is great for slightly smaller boats (appr. 5 metres) with a total weight of less than 900 kg. The dock in itself is easy and effortless to install. The dock is available with either a manual or electric winch.
Customisable length
In most cases, the light dock is constructed of 2.35-metre modules. When required, a 5-metre rail can also be attached to the 2.35-metre rail, if the added length is needed to make it suitable for your shore. With a standard winch, the maximum length of a boat dock is 30 metres.
Protects against weather and wear
Thanks to the boat dock, the bottom of the boat is not constantly in the water, so it stays clean and in good condition for longer than usual. The bottom is easy to clean and the boat is sheltered from storms and water level fluctuations.
Domestic and environmentally friendly
Our boat docks are 100% made in Finland. Our winches are made in the USA and the Eljo winch remote control and the carriage wheels, for example, are made in Germany. The fasteners and axles, etc., that we use are made of acid-proof steel. We always select high-quality materials that last a long time, so that the boat dock can, so to speak, be passed from father to son.
